try "selcocast"
http://selco.da.ru is a streaming solution, you can send or receive. Extensive explainations are given there, too.

When you're at it, is there a driver for any Amiga USB expansion for outputting digital audio to external USB sound card/DAC? That would be very nice...

Wouldn't you be happier with a Toccata card in your Amiga?

Well, that's not the same thing. Toccata is undoubtedly better than Amiga's native sound hardware, but it is still vastly inferior to basically any external DAC, unless it has some form of digital output. Plus, external DAC would offload the decoding from the internal hardware.
Is the SPDIF out on Terratec 512i supported on Amiga through Mediator or any other PCI board? Now that would be something :)

Both AmigaAmp and Amplifier can play shoutcast streams.

There's also streamer. The latest version on aminet crashes my system, but version 2.08 works very well.

On aminet there are a couple of other programs as well.

Like Pan1k I have an mp3@64 (mp3@64) and also a masplayer pro, and both work beautifully with Amplifier, AmigaAmp, Streamer 2.08 and AmiNetRadio.

I prefer Amplifier and Streamer 2.08 though, because they're the least CPU intensive when streaming audio.

I use AmiNetRadio for listening to online radio stations on the office A1200 030. It's one of those essential online Amiga apps, just like Dynamite!

No, you can only listen to internet radio stations. Real ones won't work.

Are you sure you entered the correct name ?

It should be melodympeg.device.

Which Melody are you using? The Z2 version only does mp2, so no hardware decoded net radio, unfortunately. In that case you'll need to install the mpega library (aminet) and change the MPEG decoder settings in Amplifier to "software".

In DEVS are Melodympeg.device and other called Melodyaudio.device. And in LIBS is mpega.library.

How know if its the wrong version?
