Hi all. I hate to sell these, but I am in a bad position and have some bills to catch up. I was hoping to build a really nice amiga system with these, but with the option of emulation, and the high prices of hardware, I am just afraid having the real thing is beyond my means right now.
Item 1:
Mint NOS Amiga 2000. I bought this in about 96, from a guy who had about a hundred of them unopened new in the box. I opened it and removed the battery about 3 years ago, it had JUST started to leak so I cleaned up the board and it had no damage. I did put in a Holder for a coin battery, but never put a battery in it. It is the 2000HD model, REv 6 mother board (I believe) and has literally only been turned on 2 times. Unfortunately due to several moves etc I have lost the keyboard and mouse, as well as the included books getting a little frayed etc. But this is an ULTRA clean amiga 2000, probably as close to brand new as you could hope to find.
Item 2:
Somewhat abused amiga 1200. I got this with a non working mouse port, found a blown "Fuse" (Small chip on the board) for that port. I just bypassed it as I had no way to get the proper fuse, so you have to be careful what you plug in! It works fine however. I installed a small (4gb) ide harddrive from an old laptop and it boots to os 3.1 fine. The floppy drive is a bit dodgy, generally works, sometimes have to eject and reinsert the disk. Other than that its pretty much all there, just the harddrive is loose inside as I didnt have the mounting bracket, etc. Probably best converted to a tower, all the keys are there etc, but its a bit yellow.
Items 3- ? I have a large collection of copied disks I picked up at a yard sale, basically dont know how good they are, most seemed to work a few years ago when I fooled with them, some are magazine cover disks, a few original discs and games, mostly copies.
I have some misc joysticks, hard to say. LOL. Not much of an ad HUH, guess its cuz I hate to sell this stuff.
Anyways, the main item is the 2000, its really nice and great for a collector or someone looking for a great machine to build up. Dont really know what its worth, or any of it really, so shoot me some offers. Guess I would trade it all for an amiga 4000 to build, however I really shouldnt as I need the money.
:( Unless someone has a cheap flicker fixer and accelerator for the 2000 :D Dang I am so TORN LOL I can do so much easily with emulation, but its hard to beat turning on the REAL thing!

Whats your location mate and are you willing to post the items?
If your in the UK i might be interested in the A2000 (depending on price) :)

Probably an important point! I am in the US, Ohio to be exact. I imagine sending this sucker overseas would be a $$$ because its quite heavy. Thanks!

Argh! so close to getting another A2000!! (Im actually looking to replace mine as its a bit tatty).
Best of luck with the sale anyway :)

An unexpanded A2000 will probably not get you very much in terms of $$$. If that's your baby I'd keep it and rewrite your ad for the A1200. Save the A2000 and when you've got some money coming in get some board for it to play with ;-)
Just my €0.02 !

I am curious. How much are you asking for the Amiga 2000? Thanks.
