Title: A3000T SCSI Help Please
Post by: AlaskaCC on November 10, 2009, 11:11:11 PM
Hello,

I recently purchased a 3000T that has a Seagate ST15150N SCSI drive.  I have not been able to get the system to recognize it.  The jumper settings appear to be correct.  I would like to get it booted up so I can see the contents.  3.1 boot rom.  Any suggestions?

Have you run a program to scan your scsi chain to see if it shows up and what address it is?  Is there anything else on your scsi chain?  Are you using the A3000T's scsi?  Are you using an A3640?  What do you mean when you say the system won't recognize the HD?

Termination, Termination, Termination.

I changed a jumper on the drive to get termination power from the SCSI bus instead of the drive.  That was successful.  Thanks for your help.
