Are the slots on the A4000 standard PC ISA slots or are they Zorro ?

I believe ... both, Zorro on the back, ISA up front.

Zorro III.

It has three inline ISA slots that can be activated with a bridgeboard or golden gate.

You don't want to activate the ISA slots. Seriously. Nothing but stability issues and disabled caches loom ahead.

Ok , so u could say there is some form of ISA compatibility but it sucks .

there's no compatibility, ISA slots are 'invisible' to Amiga unless you happen to have a bridgeboard.
