Yes, the very same cases used by Commodore Gaming for their high-end gaming PCs.
Better used, in my opinion, for a Commodore/Amiga related project (my AmigaOne is in one and it's loving it.)
These are brand new, unusued, and still in the original plastic. (original Commodore boxes, too!)
Basics are: 4 5.25" drive bays and 2 3.5" drive bays (external access, and one has a USB/Firewire/Audio in/out panel,) 4 internal 3.5" bays, and the cases will take a standard ATX motherboard and power supply.
Fun part: two lighted fans, one large on the side and one smaller in the front of the case. The lights are controllable via buttons on the front of the case (change the colors, or set them to cycle or even turn the lights off.) With this fan setup, it stays quite cool in the case. Also, the cases are lined with foam for noise reduction. (I bet the front lights would look great in red with a white boing ball overlay applied...)
Price is $60USD plus shipping each, worldwide shipping available, don't want anyone to miss out.

Definitely a fun case, for Commodore/Amiga use or otherwise.
If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to PM or post.
Thanks!

Wow, those are so cool! I didn't even know they existed. I'd definitely want one if I had or was building an OS4.x system. Can't believe all the little extras they put into that... even the feet are C= lol!
And is that a FireWire port in the front? Interesting...
-
Correct, it's basically a PC case. Any ATX sized board should fit in and work nicely.
-
How much in total for two cases shipped to Denmark, Europe?
-
Ooo, incredibly tempting. I'll think about it.
-
@Tone007,
How many do you have and how much would shipping be to the UK?
Mike
-
Will an A4000 motherboard bolt right into this or are the screw holes in different places?
-
I'm also interested, how much for shipping to the UK?
-
*takes a deep breath*
Shipping to the UK appears to be $95USD for one tower.
Denmark shipping seems to be the same as UK shipping.
An A4000 motherboard most likely wouldn't have holes in the ATX positions, but if you're handy with a drill you could add a few more holes to the case where you need them. Definitely a bit of a project, and one I'd try myself if I had a 4000 with a bad case lying around.
-
@Tone007, would a courier rather than US Postal Service be cheaper to europe?
-
It doesn't appear so. If you have any leads on a good courier from the US to Europe, please let me know.
edit: seriously, the rates I'm seeing on the couriers here, it'd be cheaper for me to get on a plane and hand deliver them.
-
*takes a deep breath*
Shipping to the UK appears to be $90USD for one tower, or $150USD for two. I'd have to double check these prices at the post office, however, as the size may or may not be an issue.
Denmark shipping seems to be the same as UK shipping, again, pending verification at the post office.

I'd like to reserve a case if possible. Can you accept paypal?
-
Case reserved, PayPal is fine.
If you PM me your address, I can verify the shipping costs tomorrow. Crossing my fingers their website is accurate.

PM sent
Hopefully the next case for my AmigaOne :)

Anyone in the Glasgow'ish area of Scotland fancy chipping in for postage on two? If not I'm still interested anyway just for me :o)
-
I'm in Glasgoe, just not sure if I can justify it with the postage costs when there are other things I need more in life. :(
-
I'm in the same boat mate. Tone007's price is VERY reasonable but unfortunately the shipping just kills the deal. With my second child due to be born any day now and Christmas coming i just think its something i'm gonna have to unfortunately pass on.

Hi,
How much for shipping to Melbourne, Australia? Is it possible to get tracked/insured surface mail?
If there are any other Melbourne bods who are interested, let me know and we might be able to get cheaper shipping...
Cheers,
Mike.
-
Man, USPS isn't doing any favors today...
Shipping to Australia looks like $125 for one, $225 for two in one package.
On the plus side, though, AUD and USD are almost even these days!
I believe USPS has discontinued all international surface mail, which is the cause of these shipping prices.

@Tone
How much for USA shipping to zip code 14215? UPS ground or USPS.
-
PM sent for one case if any are still left

Looks like $25 via USPS for one unit.
edit: price up a bit due to a low weight estimate on my part.
-
Is there enough room to fit an A4000 mobo in one of these? They are a bit wider than most mobos. If so, how much for shipping to 61520 zip?
-

Yes. Prices for these cases are really honest, but shipping cost is too high to afford it, at least IMHO, for an european customer. But, besides this, I'm really courious about how did Tone get all those Commodore Gaming cases...
-
What sort of price are we looking at for shipping to the UK (United Kingdom)?
-
Is Commodore Gaming selling gaming PC's anymore?
I just went to their web-site and couldn't find anything about the Ckin gaming computers anymore, other than some information in an old support FAQ. The actual advertisement offering the Ckin computers is gone. All that they seem to offer now are C64 games for the Wii and iPhone.
So are these cases end of the run stock being dumped by Commodore Gaming? Too bad because they are some of the best designed Commodore computer cases I've ever seen.

Unfortunately I can't be certain an A4000 motherboard would fit in this case, as I don't have one to test with.

As stated earlier in the thread, $95 shipping for one to the UK.

It does appear they've stopped selling PCs. My guess is their prices were just too high to sell many.

They could make a fortune just selling cases!
-
Nice score!
-
If I were to buy a next generation AmigaOS board, this would *have* to be the case for it. It's just too cool!
-
@ Tone007
What size and weight is stated on the carton? (If any)
-
It isn't stated. I'll be taking one to the post office to get some official shipping costs today.
-
Hi -
please let me know the USPS shipping cost to Canada postal code L5A 1E3.
Thanks.
-
Shipping to Canada seems to be $55 for one case via USPS (they have no option for postal codes, I guess it's the same price for the entire country?)
-
I am definitely in for one!
-
OK, some crappy news from the post office today regarding international shipping.
Big bad news: the box is too large to ship to Australia, at all, via USPS (but not NZ, oddly enough.)
Slightly less (but still bad) news: combining two units together makes that package too large to go anywhere internationally.
The package is also about 2lbs heavier than I'd estimated, which raises costs $5 or so for international, so previous UK and Denmark estimates go from $90 to $95.
...why couldn't Commodore Gaming have made smaller cases!?
-
Probably because our Posties ride around on cute little scooters that would fall over sideways with a big box....

Have you sorted out whether you have any cases left? I'm at zip code 09459 and would like one if any are available. Thank you.
-
Maybe someobdy like AmigaKit could take a few off your hands and sell them in Europe ..?
-

There are still cases left, PM sent.

First bunch, ready to ship!

Thanks for all the interest so far.

If you have any left please count me in for one.

Whatever happened to this incarnation of C=? Did it go bust again too?
-
Hey Tone... pretty cool cases... tempting for my PegII... and at a good price. Can you please calculate shipping cost to Mexico City?
Thank you!

Aw, man, they're another one like Australia that has a maximum size. In the C= box, it's too large to ship. If I could get the case into a smaller box (less than 79" girth and length combined, which may be possible) it looks like it'd get to Mexico for $80.
Obviously this would work for Australia as well, though they have the higher shipping rate of $135.

Apparently so.
Update: all cases paid for yesterday have been shipped!
Thanks.

I bought one in 2009 and it has been sitting in my garage unopened since. I will pop the box open and take a look at it since I am in Phoenix. If you are interested make me an offer in a PM.

I sure don't. They went pretty quick.
