Post by: atom-ant on November 08, 2009, 05:14:10 PM
Hi
I`m now ont the internet using Easynet (from Amiakit.com and very easy to setup) The thing I want to know that I`m using Aweb3SE which I have been told is not a very good browser and it is not updated anymore and was told to use Ibrowse but I can not seem to find a download for it any ideas (using my P.C at to do this)
My set up is:-
Amiga A1200 rn Official Power Supply 2mb Chip RamTaifun (Typhoon) 1230 / 040 accelerator board with 32mb fast ram. 1.6Gb Hard Drive (1Gb Free)3.1 ROMs OS / Workbench 3.9  EasyNet PCMCIA Network card

Ibrowse is definitly the best browser for classic 68k amigas. You can download the 30 minutes then it quits demo from the ibrowse site: http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/download.php (http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/)
Unfortunatly they don't let people register it anymore, but thirty minutes timeout isn't that annoying when you have broadband and little or no amiga related files take that long to download.

Aweb got a lot better since it became open-sourced

Is Aweb still available to D/L? I thought the site was closed?
