Title: whdload problems and other questions...?

I've got amiga forever running on a dedicated emulation pc, hosted by windows, it boots straight to the provided amiga forever os 3.X
I replaced the windows xp shell with that, very nice...
 
I installed whdload, but it seems a great deal of whdload games require an amiga 500 kickstart rom. Is this included with amiga forever?

Does anyone know which file it is and do I just copy it over to
devs/kickstarts/ and rename it?
 
I've got a few hundred games for whdload I can't use for lack of the kickstart rom. Any help would be very much appreciated. I will gladly register whdload if I can get this working right...
 
Also, I know amikit and amigasys have amistart or a start bar, does anyone know where I can get this?

Finally, I tried in prefs to delete some of the stuff from the dockbar, like the clown pic and other stuff I don't need, but it seems the stuff remains on the docbar, How do I remove that stuff from the dockbar?

Hi!

Yes you need to copy the kickstart files included in your Amiga Forever disc to DEVS:kickstarts/. Also you'll need to rename it but I can't remember the exact name it needs to have. I can come back with the name when I get home.

Also, you will need to download skick346.lha from Aminet (util/boot) and copy a file from that archive to DEVS:Kickstarts/ as well.

Usually the readme files from the games indicate the files to be copied to DEVS:Kickstarts/ and how they should be named.

You need rename the file to kick34005.a500, and kick33180.a500, and thats all.

The Whdload will load the games, demos or programs if these need A500 1.3 kickstart

Not the WHDLoad slaves, the WHDLoad package itself have the directions, and skick346 also have them.

 Both in the "readme" guide.;)

Does amiga forever 2008 come with the a500 kick rom? I see a590.rom or something like that but I tried copying that file and renaming it... Still won't work :(

It should be something like kick13.rom or similar. Do not look for it as a specific A500 rom, instead look for the kickstart version 1.3
