Ok - just for fun i thought it would be nice to start a wee thread to get you all thinking about how you could sum up the Amiga in 140 Characters or less (Twitter Stylee).
You never know - we may end up with a slogan that would last forever!!! LOL
Anyhoo I was after a statement that sums up not only the machine but also the cultural aspects of it and what it means or meant to you personally.
Here's mine for a starter for 10:
Amiga:
"Reminds me I can do more with what I have and who's epitaph should read "a computer, a games machine and a social activity all at once"
If its not too boring it would be nice if you could explain your statement as well
For instance my statement effectively says - don't just throw power or resources at something you want to achieve - find a way to achive your goal with what you have. The Amiga did that for years by having fantastic custom hardware which would have been useless without peoples ability to develop for it and as with the C64 make it do far more than was ever thought possible. Yes it was a computer to do all the great stuff but it was also highly entertaining with some of the best games available of all time and really pioneered technology such as the CD Rom. The social activity part reminds me of the very late Friday and Saturday evenings I would spend with my mates drinking beers in my bedroom while trying to work through Monkey Island lol.

"This Friday evening I am playing with my a500 and it's already half naked."

And lo, it came to pass that the Amiga game player kicked serious a$$ in Cannon Fodder as all his platoon buddies died in vain around him
