Hello, I'm a new Amiga user. I have an A2000 with an A209 hard drive card and it appears to conflict with the GVP A2000 040 Combo board (rev 6). Specifically, if I disable SCSI on the Combo board the system will not boot the A209 drive. I closed jumper J4 on the Combo board as noted in documentation but am not able to get the two cards to coexist. Is there another setting I should adjust?
Incidentally, is there a pdf library of instruction manuals available somewhere?
I sincerely appreciate your help.

check the following site for instruction manuals.

I am guessing you are wanting to use the A2091 with a H drive. The Combo card would be a smidgen faster than the A2091. Yeah?
I took my A2091 out of my A2000 with combo 040 when I got 2Mb of Chip ram (Mega Chip). I was only using its 2Mb of Ram. It's a slow scsi card.

You got a 2091 or 2090? The latter does not work correctly with 32 bit RAM and is rather annoying generally...
You should stick to the SCSI on the GVP board - should be much faster anyway. Note that you'll have to reformat any potential 2090 drive for that as the 2090 doesn't implement the subsequent RDB standard.

Thank you all for the input. There is a SCSI drive attached to the Combo Card but the OS is fouled up. I'll reformat and start over. Which version of the OS is best for general use? I still want to play a few games. The system has 2.0 Roms (37.175)

If your looking to play games the GVP040 is going to give you more issues than WB 2.04.
