Alternative Party 2009 will be held on this weekend 23. - 25. 10. 2009 at the Cable Factory in Helsinki, Finland. Official homepage (http://www.altparty.org/2009/)

Three days filled with digital art, technology, business and science: developer of ARM Sophie Wilson, the crazy Commodore girl Jeri Ellsworth, cyberpunk rock by Dope Stars Inc, the amazing Super computer demo and other competitions, digital art and technology at the exhibition, mind-blowing visual effects and more. Party around the clock with your like-minded friends.

Check out special invitation (http://www.altparty.org/2009/blog/item/items/jeri-ellsworth-invites-you-to-alternative-party-2009.html) by Jeri Ellsworth.

Of course coming back from last year is the computer & art exhibition (http://www.altparty.org/2009/exhibition.html)

Ooo, nice blooper-filled invitation by Jeri Ellsworth!  Too bad I can't make it to Alt Party.  My last show for the year was the AmiWest Show.  Next year... more shows to attend!

How was the party?
The party was great, lots of cool stuff for example Cray democompo with realtime fractal zoomer :-)

The robot playing pong was my favorite, aswell as the presentation by Sophie Wilson. And of course Jeri, who was very welcoming and had tons of time to chat and watch C64 and VIC-20 demos with us :-)
