I know Commodore's quality control was nonexistant but jeeez!!
Anyho someone want to make an offer on 9 "NOS" 220V EU C=ommodore power supplies missing the electrical connector(one to the wall)? Add your own connector and you are set. I don't want to bother personally.

Actually, that might have been on purpose - in South Africa we use these huge honking power plugs (I'm talking 1/4" of solid brass for each prong here), so commonly electronics goods don't come with a plug.

Oh really? That is a good explanation! They don't look removed, just nonexistant!

Hmm, if you don't sell these ever, I want the cords that go to the Amiga. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find the correct 5 wire cords... lol, I have a pile of ends (the square Amiga power connection), but the best I can find is 6 wire cables, or 5 wire cable that's braided (can't use that).
Reason: I have 4 or 5 "BIgFoot" power supplies that are missing the Amiga end of the business. :-o

Yep, I could never understand how having such a huge plug was going to be of any help, when the electrical wiring that the plug is attached to is so much thinner (it's about the same as the wiring you'll find in the USA).

@ Red
Plus the fact that UK plugs are three pin plugs (earth pin at the top) and continental europe has round two pin plugs...
-
BTW Cyberus, which type do you want? I have both EU and UK models. I suppose you want a UK model right?
-Edit-
BTW Nope not sleeping yet :-P
-Edit #2-
I should have asked if you needed anything else before you paid... I guess better late then never. You need any gamepads or Graffiti GFX Box?
-
Yes please!
I just noticed actually, you mentioned the plug difference on another thread, having sold a few A500s you must be well aware of the differences by now, doh!
They are electrically the same, its just that our earth pin is on the plug, theirs is on the socket.
Also our mains is 240V versus their 110V AFAIK
edit: I've just woken up! Since I've given up alcohol, I've decided to stay in the last two Fridays to avoid the temptation, and I went to bed at about 10pm...

Err, I'd never heard of Grafitti until now - just nipped over to amiga-hardware.com for a quick look. Can you tell me more about it? I'm a bit bleary eyed at the moment!
edit: The dog is none to happy about being woken up this early in the morning either (its 5.30am)

No more edits, new post:-)
BTW do you own a Commodore 64? If so I can throw in a free game pack if you'd like. It is NTSC but AFAIK you should be able to convince a PAL C64 to play it:-)

If you are interested or need more info PM or email me. I don't officially have these yet(though it's semi public now eh?:-P)

I think people should use 'egad' more often!
It certainly attracted my attention...

@jagabot
I have a bigfoot power supply I got years ago that never worked. I tried replacing the dead fuse on it, but they kept blowing out as soon as I plugged it in so I gave up on it. I don't know, but maybe it has some parts you can use. Maybe we can work out a deal.
Or, maybe someone has some advice as to what's the matter with it. Is it a common problem with bigfoots that the fuse blows out?
