Title: Another Amiga spotted
Post by: Caius on October 08, 2009, 05:47:11 AM
I'm using Linode.com as a VPS provider. Today I noticed that on their community front page (http://www.linode.com/community/) they have an interesting icon in front of the Blog link. Look familiar?

That's neat.  I was watching The Simpsons the other night and Crusty the Clown asked if anyone knew where he could find ink for his Amiga fax machine. Kinda funny, I don't think Amiga ever made a fax machine but if I had to guess I'd say that one of the writers used to be an Amiga user.

Some have said that Matt Groening was once an Amiga user (now Apple Mac apparently).

Hi,

In a recent Futurama I heard an announcement for

"Comoddore64 Zapp Branigan"

also in the episode where Bender becomes a Were Car, in the long hall is a portrait titled "Comoddore RIP"

Regards, Michael

Nice! The site has a neat and clean MorphOS look about it too.

Unfortunately for them, the icon is called l33t_DEV_a500.png

Clearly that's an A1200 wedge.

It is also my new EUAE icon :D
