Hello,
Does anyone know how to sort by name the icons in a directory from Workbench 3.1?
At the moment I always have to sort the icons my self which becomes a little problematic in directories that contain a lot of other directories. Is there maybe some utility in AmiNet.
Thanks and Regards,

There is an easy way to do it: select all the files and un-snapshot them.
Thats all!
NOTE: I tested my assertion on UAE and an HFS+ Volume. It should hold for FFS and OFS, though.

Thank you :) I'll try that!

IIRC the "View by >> Name" menu item should do that too, though it'll be without icons.

Awesome tip! Here's how to sort Amiga Workbench icons by name, in video form. Hope this helps! https://youtu.be/bE4zVEg1_EE
