Title: Amikit on Linux
Post by: swift240 on September 17, 2009, 06:39:02 PM
I like to use Ubuntu 9.04 a lot, how ever I am forced to use Windows XP to gain access to Amikit.

When in ubuntu I try to Install Amikit from a shell and I get this error.

libcanberra-gtk-module.so not found, has any one actually got Amikit to Install and run on ANY version of Ubuntu?

TIA,

Mike.

Try this to fix the error:

Create a symlink in /usr/lib/ to /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module

Error message no longer reported

This is fixed in the latest version of the libcanberra package (0.4-2)
