Hi
Not very Amiga I know.. save that it was a Commodore product. Anyway, I am sure that you all know about my website and my dedication to the Amiga.. well Haven`t been that active of late given that I have a serious storage problem. However I have updated the site to include the new addition, the KIM-1 plus I added a new scuzzblog.
May be of interest to some.

Never heard of the KIM concept until now, thanks! Also, great site. Incredible amount
of info and pics there. I'll be sure to book-mark that puppy!

Holy crap! I thought I had a large collection, but this is mind boggling. You must have a lot of space. I've got less than 1/20 that and my computer room is so packed I nearly get killed in avalanches regularly. (I'm thinking of putting up avalanche warning signs.)
You've got a very nice website too.

The college where I went to school for Electrical Engineering used the Kim-1 as a training computer. We learned assembly, built interfaces (i designed my own SCSI interface as a project for this back in 1984) and power supplies. It was tons of fun and a great way to learn. Man, I really knew assembly back then.

It wasn't a concept it was a commercially available product. There we several single board micro's around Uk101, Nascom 1 and 2, Kim 1....just to name a few.
