Title: Amiga 1000 Phoenix hard drive bracket?
Post by: Astral on September 11, 2009, 09:52:44 AM
I am trying to mount a SCSI hard drive in my Phoenixed A1000.

Just wondering if anyone has a picture of what the bracket looks like to help me out? I don't think there's much chance sourcing one, so I am thinking of making one.

There ist no Harddrive bracket. Georg have a selfmade bracket with a scsi to ide adapter.

I made the bracket in the sheet metal, i hope this is the real word for Abschirmblech in german. But i don“t have a photo from it.

Yeah, there was an original hard drive kit when the Phoenix sold originally back in 1990 or so.

I do like the way George mounted that hard drive though - I might do it that way :-)
