Title: Jason Holborn
Post by: bloodline on September 07, 2009, 11:39:27 PM
I was clearing out some old book at the weekend and found a book written by a guy called Jason Holborn, called "Ultimate Amos"... a quick leaf through the book shows just how well written it is!

I just wondered if Jason ever wrote any more books? I want to find a good book on Game Programming for my younger brother... unfortunately AMOS won't do for him... :) But if Jason ever wrote a book about general game programming I'd like to buy it!

Nice one! It seems he must have given up writing after "Ultimate AMOS", shame as I love his writing style!

I guess he doesn't frequent these parts any more :(

I'm sure I recognised his name. It looks as though he worked for Future Publishing back in the day on Amiga Format, but don't know about any other magazines though.

It seems he changed his name to Jason Brown when he got married (strange):

Maybe he did some more books, who knows, I didn't bother looking.

Oh Well done! If we still had rep points I'd use my considerable rep power to bump you up!

I'll see what I can find of his work.

Many thinks!
