Title: Texting while driving kills!

Greetings,
After watching a video of 3 girls driving while texting. I came to realize how scary it could be :shocked: So I'm guilty as charge! lol! From time to time I always slip my cell beside me and text away. I used to pull-over, but now I seem to be breaking that .... ah... rule? norm? ... whatever!! that driving is while texting is much deadlier than Drunk driving(according to cnn)..

We've had graphic road safety ads for quite a while downunder, hasn't done much to help lower the road toll, nor have all the speed cameras, booze buses and anti-hoon laws. Better driver training and tougher testing is the only way to reduce the road toll.

Best way to reduce the road toll is to stay off the road! Walk or ride a bike, and throw those stupid mobile phones away.

I like my mobile phone, I also like being able to go online, which I wouldn't be able to do if I dumped it... I should point out I don't drive..

Who on earth thinks it's a good idea to text while driving? I was already amazed that some so-called 'chicks' cross the street while texting and not watching. Then you're conciously putting other people's lives in danger I'd tell you! Seriously, it should be a capital offence.

The difference between that and texting while riding a car is obvious; while cycling you're a danger to yourself, but while driving, you're a danger to others.
Apart from that it's very stupid to text while cycling. Calling with a mobile is already dangerous, let alone texting! What are you people thinking?
