Okay, I managed to purchase myself my first Amiga 3000T today. I have it at home, and I have the SCSI CD-ROM Drive I was given to install and test. There's only one problem.. Apparently I'm too dumb to figure out the case!!!!! Gah! I removed the screws on the back and I just figured that you pull them back and they would slide off. Not so apparently, or at the very least, that didn't work for me. So please, help end my stupidity. What am I doing wrong?

if I remember correctly I think you pull the front cover off and you have more screws to take out.

Thank you. With your help I managed to get the case. I've never seen the inside of one of these before, but I had to laugh when I found black paper like things covering the expansion bays saying things like This space available for a 5.25 Hard drive. :) Crazy. Unfortunately I don't have any of the mounting brackets, so I don't have a way to mount this CD-ROM drive. And the machine only has Kickstart 2 ROMS and Workbench.

Coming back to this. Is there anyone out there who has the Mounting brackets they would be willing to sell for an A3000T so that I may install a SCSI CD ROM drive? I would appreciate any help. I would like to get this thing up to snuff so I can play with it more readily.

I have some I can sell you. The plastic guide rails that go on each side of the CD-ROM so it will slide in correct? Let me find them...

I would appreciate that. Just PM me when you find them and give a price. As long as they are not too expensive I should have no problem affording them.
