Okay, after installing Scalos as the default workbench replacement, I can't seem to maximize the window by default or make the border go away. I thought FullBench option in the prefs would do it, but it doesn't.
Anyone know the answer to this off the top of their head?
Thanks,

Still no ideas?

Speak to "budda" on AmigaForums, he has a whole section dedicated to Scalos.

Scalos "desktop" window works in the same way as Workbench's device icon window (the one which shows your hard disk icons etc.)
All you need to do is make the window in 'Backdrop mode' from the first menu (named "Scalos" by default). The standard menus supplied with Scalos are laid out the same as the standard Workbench 3.x menus.

Oh, and the "Fullbench" mode simply removes the screen title bar from the desktop - until your mouse pointer enters the top 11 pixels (or whatever font height you have set). ;-)

Is Scalos any good? What are the benefits over workbench?
Who uses Scalos?

I was just about to ask a scalos question when I saw this thread! Is there any use for it if you have OS3.9 installed?

Anyone know if Scalos will work under Amithlon?

It works well under winuae, using Amiga in a box

I find running scalos under OS3.9 very useful - mainly for the gui configurability.
Admittedly now we have asyncwb it's less necessary, but I still prefer it and it's WB3.9 plugin does mean it behaves almost identically.
Incidentally, VWorlds3.0 won't run under scalos, only the real WB!
