I was reading on Amiga Inc's site that their going to produce hardware for the Amiga pretty soon, how old is this statement?
"New hardware is indeed being developed, and we have selected the first 3rd party manufacturer that will build in high quantities, and yes, this new hardware is being delayed because OS 4.0 is needed to complete the package and to resolve certain technical issues. As I said before, no one wants OS 4.0 shipping more than Amiga"
will we ever see hardware? I would gladly buy it , but when lol?

The only hardware coming from Amiga, Inc is out on the front curb in front of their offices, placed there by the landlord.

@Mightyzorlac
The lack of new hardware is indeed a problem. And the problem doesn't stop there. The PPC is "dead"; after the two most interesting e600 CPU's (the 8610 and 8640D), nothing new will follow. AFAIK, the e700 family has been scrapped altogether. It seems like all interesting roadmaps was thrown in the waste basket the day Apple went Intel.
Either ARM or x86 will be the way to go now. But that won't be easy. And don't expect anything interesting to come from Amiga! They are only a webpage now... ;-)

So if their getting chucked out of their building , does that mean their going out of buisness? or just move to a smaller garage or tent...lol?

That looks like old news to me. OS4 has hardware, the AmigaOne!
Like you say, what we new is new hardware.
Like that dual core 2Ghz machine also listed in amiga's site.

Amiga Inc's World Headquarters was a suite above an Amish Furniture store in suburban Seattle. The phones we disconnected months ago and theirs speculation that they no longer have the office. Recently there has also been news that the creditors were not impressed with the sleight of hand trick from Amino to KMOS and they were hit with a judgement for US$150K for back rent owed by Amino. There are more creditors out there.
The last patents expire next year. There hasn't been a press release this year and it's August.
Amiga Inc is toast.
