I have a rev 1A Amiga motherboard and was wondering if it needs any fixes too.
I have seen on these forums that the 2B and 1D4 need removal of 2 capacitors at the underside of the mobo to fix a timing problem. Is this also the case with the 1A revision?
About the Budgie: Mine says rev 0. Do I have 01 or 02 then?

About fixes I don't know any on the top of my head but it's likely that there are fixes for it, I got a 1D4 and haven't done these fixes and it works like a charm anyway.
About Budgie you have Rev0 not 01 or 02. Motherbord Rev1D4+ got either Budgie Rev01 or 02, earlier motherboards have Budgie Rev0.

I just looked at www.amiga-hardware.com to a picture of a rev 1A motherboard.
A chip at the top left as a green wire soldered onto it. I have that fix on my motherboard. But then there is a purple wire in the middle of the board I don't have!
So, what is this for and to which components is it soldered because the picture is not detailed enough.
[EDIT]
What is even more strange is that I don't have that small chip it is connected to? :-? That is strange. 2 different types of Rev 1A motherboards?

According to Eyetech's 'Eyeline Direct' (remember those?)..
'..a few early pre-main production boards, notably 1.A and 1.B ........as far as we can ascertain,...had the timing fault 'workarounds' fitted.
Unfixed boards include Revision 1.D.4 and 2.B, though 1.D.1 was the most faulty.'
