It looks like there's no (no longer?) a page for the Sam440ep (pre-Flex, integrated gfx) on the ACubed website. Is the ep no longer produced?
How well does its on-board Mobility Radeon perform under AmigaOS 4.1 with compositing, etc. enabled?
Thanks.

We have both types in stock and available, SAM 440ep and SAM Flex here:

ACube are still supplying us- the compositing is OK on the regular 440ep

Thanks.
Can the single PCI slot on the ep be used to install a more powerful graphics card to use instead of the on-board video? Can both work simultaneously (does OS 4.1 support multi-head operation?)
And where might I find a list of PCI gfx cards that will "fully" work with the SAM boards under OS 4.1?
Thanks.

Yes it can, but at the moment, the Radeon 9250 is the best card that can be used- however development is currently underway for drivers for better spec Radeons.

As amigakit mentioned you can use PCI graphics card - if i remember correctly there is even an experimental driver to use *both* graphics card sets at the same time.
Maybe I am an "untypical" user but I had no problem with the inbuild video of the 440ep version until now - and I have compositing enabled (on Workbench only, though).
