Hey Everyone,
I gave Scalos a go and didn't like it so uninstalled it. However, when I load Workbench I still get a requester asking me to insert Scalos in any drive. I've removed all references to it from S:Startup-Sequence and S:User-Startup and deleted anything that says Scalos from C: but no joy. Has anyone any ideas? I'm sure I'm being really dumb and missing something obvious here.
Thanks,
Rob.

Check the LoadWB program. ScalOS may have replaced it with it's own Scalos loader.
greets,
Staf.

Thankyou so much Fats!
Scalos created a new LoadWB and renamed the original to LoadWB.orig. Robin 1 Scalos 0!

Our of curiosity, what version of scalos did you try?
I've been using Scalos V41.6 happily now for quite a while, one of the reasons is that it solved a bug/shortcoming where a wbenchsreen with a background not backdropped and not being the top window, would make the image appear further down then the dafault start position ( i think ). It uses alot more memory tho :S
http://scalos.noname.fr/downloads.php#beta anyway.

I think it was V1.2. I found that it didn't like my NewIcons or my Workbench and windows patterns.
