Title: Can you lock the palette of a MUI public screen?
Post by: Cammy on July 27, 2009, 01:16:06 AM
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there's any way to lock a palette on a 16 colour MUI public screen? I use FullPalette to lock the palette of my Workbench screen, and I have all my MUI programs/images re-mapped to that palette but when I try using MUI's public screens, the colours go all screwy because of the random colour palette it chooses.

I'd really appreciate the help, thanks guys!

You might want to take a look at the utility 'SPC' on aminet.
http://aminet.net/package/util/cdity/SPC

It let's you change every screen's palette. Never tried it myself though.

The archive on aminet has no program icon, so when you start the program it hides in the background. You have to use 'Exchange' to popup it's window.
It's better to create a program icon for it yourself, and look in the guide to see what tooltypes to use.

Edit: Just had a look. Looks like SPC doesn't let you save its settings, so it's not exactly what your looking for.
