Title: mouse adapter ps2m, PIC16F627A
Post by: orange on July 20, 2009, 08:02:35 AM
looking at this page: http://www.students.tut.fi/~leinone3/ps2mhiiri627/
I don't see download link for .hex file used to program PIC16F627A.

still, it says that one should use the same firmware from ps2m on aminet.
does it mean it could use directly "ps2m_5button.hex" or it needs 'recompiling' the "ps2m.asm"?

Yes, you can use this:
http://ps2m.sotchenko.ru/pic/ps2m_5button.hex

Far better than 'F84, no fuss with oscillator, works like charm.

has anyone used Willem to program the  PIC16F627A?
I cannot get the 'config word=#154' as in instructions, tried all combinations of switches :/

I managed to find the right combination, by reading the specifications, here it is in case someone needs it: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/28/1218776/Amiga/cfgwrd.png
it seems to work :)

but I still have few questions; is C1=100nF? and JP1 header with 10pins is for joystick pass-through presumably?
