Looking for one of these for use with Amiga 4000 (40-pin connector I believe for standard IDE drives). PM or e-mail you if have one of these for sale. Thanks.

if your prepared to wait a week or two for delivery then you can get one very cheaply from China via ebay.
Look Here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CF-Compact-Flash-to-40-Pin-IDE-Adapter-Bootable-9696_W0QQitemZ180328325603QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCA_Cables_Adapters?hash=item29fc67e1e3&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A15%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50)
Or DealExtreme

Sorry double post

Thanks. So these el cheapo offerings will work well with an A4000 and boot into OS no problem? Not sure about how compatible these are with the Amiga...
-
I got one of the cheap backplate adaptor IDE to CF adaptors for my 4000D and it works a treat.
Can be used as bootable device and as a slave - as mine is. But I have used it to boot my 4000D up without any problems.

as above, i have both the dealextreme and the cheapo chinese ebay ones and to be honest i've never had any problems running any of them as an amiga hdd.

I bought one from Dealextreme, cheapest because of the free shipping. Hopefully it won't take too long... Thanks for the info guys.
