Title: AA Alice

Does anyone know if it is possible to change out an AA PAL Alice chip with an AA NTSC Alice.  Would that convert the machine to NTSC?  Any Help in that direction would be appreciated.

There's more to change than just the chip. But since you can switch between PAL and NTSC in software, why bother?

There's only a single type of Alice - pin 41 decides whether it defaults to _NTSC or PAL . The A4k has J212 to switch, on the A1200 it's coming from U12.
