Hello,
I want to buy the new edition of Amiga Anywhere for using some old paint programs. Can I buy somewhere Deluxe Paint V, Spectracolour, Brilliance and Image FX? Is it possible to install this programs on Amiga Anywhere? If I cannot find Deluxe Paint I wont be buying the emulator because I will miss lots of features from Personal Paint that DP has.
Long live Amiga and their community!

most of those now seem to be abandoned, and are probably available as ADF's.
ImageFX is still being developed, and can be purchased here:

I don't think Amiga Anywhere runs any old Classic Amiga software. It is not an emulator, is it?
There may be some old games that have been recompiled to run on AA, but that is limited to those few applications and games that have been recompiled, or rewritten for AA, not the majority of old Amiga software.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Maybe he has Amiga Anywhere confused with Amiga Forever? I've done that myself a time or two.

First of all, thanks for the replies :-). I nearly forgot that what made the Amiga so great was not only the machine/OS itself but also the community behind it.
Yoy were right I was talking about the Cloanto product, thanks for the correction. I was looking the other day to some old record covers and I was transported to the times where Amiga was king. Probably today these packages are considered primitives but I love that HAM flavour they give to the images :-), how easy they were. I felt totally integrated with the tools, maybe thet were much less, but the easy of use for me is still to be matched. Just an opion.
I will check those ADF files, I think is going to be a toucht one. Can I install this files easily in Amiga Forever?
Thanks!

.ADF files act just like floppy disks. In the WinUAE emulator that comes with Amiga Forever you can just pop up a graphical requester with the F12 button and eject and reload the .ADF files.
.HDF files are the hard drive images. They hold more but cannot be ejected and reloaded mid-session.
Does this answer your question?

ImageFX 4.5 comes on a CD and works just fine in winUAE

I suggest you get Amiga Forever 2009 if you don't already have one of their earlier versions. It is a great product and I think you will be very happy with it and it's ease of use.

I use TV Paint a lot on a real Amiga with GFX card. Very good paint program and was given away free by Newtek. I use PPaint also for 256 color or less image manipulation like reducing colors and setting transparency for gifs. Latest version is free on Aminet. There is also Perfect Paint which is free. It has some neat artist stuff but I'm not a fan of the interface.

Thinking of purchasing a pc (or some kind of computer) just so I can dedicate it to a Amiga Emulation system..If I use the emulation for drawing and video work only, which is the best suited emulation to use on this pc? What are some of the components that should be installed on a pc for this emulation.(video card, ram , HD, etc). I don't do 3D rendering or any commerical work, this is strictly for fine art . Painting , drawing and maybe image processing. This will all be new to me so please indulge my very basic questions, I simply don't know.
Does anyone know about the AmigaKit machine flex?
