Title: A4000 modulator question?
Post by: Akiko on October 29, 2003, 12:03:07 AM
I was wondering if it's possible to connect my A4000 to a standard T.V. Would an A500 modulator work?

It works just fine, however it's very loose when connected to any RGB out port (even to A500's!) but especially on the A4000 RGB out!

If I were you I'd look for an RGB to Scart or RGB to composite/s-video cables, depending on where you live (Europe or N. America). It won't look so bulky in the back of the A4000 as it would with an A520 adapter.

The a500 modulator can be used on all amigas i even used one on an a1200 because it was a more stable picture. :-)

I agree, if possible use a RGB -> Scart cable, the quality is much better and there's no need to tune channels that way. Also as said there's no problem of the modulator box hanging at the back :-)
