I got to admit, but it always interests me whats the most of battery leaks you have ever seen on Amigas? I have been lucky and all of mine came pretty clean. But seeing some of the stuff on ebay makes me shake my head in disbelief, and the ignorance or arrogance of offering such items for sale is mind buggling. I won't be surprised to see the buyer here asking for help within a year (complaining of dead amiga)

I almost bid on that one!!!
I'd say that a major spill. Even if it works, its only a matter of time till the acid eats (if it hasn't already) into the pcb. Do you have other photos to share?
Lets see your battery leak photos! :-)

well at least the seller mentions it..whcih is pretty good ebay wise :-)
its always buyer beware and I always ask for a close up photo of any MB before bidding to be safe

Yeah , the fact that the leak was mentioned makes it a fair auction .
The worst is when somebody is selling an Amiga (like the PLUS or the A3000) , and say it is untested when they know full well that it is damaged .

Here's a nice one.
