Cloanto released today Amiga Forever 2009, the latest version of the award-winning Amiga preservation, emulation and support suite for Windows and other platforms. The 2009 version includes hundreds of enhancements and was tested to comply with "Compatible with Windows 7" requirements.New features include seamless, one-click integration of the AmiKit! I am happy to see Colanto and AmiKit join together. AmiKit has always been my favorite WinUAE emulation enhancement. It is good to see that Amiga emulation is alive and well, while the rest of what is left of the Amiga community is split in so many different directions that it appears to be holding on by its fingernails in this poor economy.

It is worthwile to mention that AF09 also allows seamless integration of AmigaSYS. I have to try AIAB or ClassicWB too.
I'm happy Windows7 is fully supported - now I can easylly install 7rc - the only app I'm using Windows for is Amiga emulation  I mean seriously.

Good stuff. Nice to see Cloanto still able to bring out new versions.
Would be brilliant if they can do a limited edition with the cover signed/autographed by a few Amiga luminaries (Sassenrath, RJ, etc).
Just a thought :)
