Post by: klx300r on June 25, 2009, 01:47:54 AM
Just noticed my cap at C459 (just next to the IDE slot) on my 1d4 1200 MB started leaking slightly..already got it off the MB but need to know what modern cap can I replace it with? and where can I get one?

It is 22uF, probably 25 or 35V. It's a pretty common value, Radio Shack would have one. You can use a thru-hole type in a pinch, but personally I replace them all with the same type (only much better quality). Some of the others are likely leaking as well, even if it isn't yet visible.
