Title: convert MagicWB icons to glowicons
Post by: lionstorm on October 27, 2003, 09:44:22 AM
Hi all,
I am looking for a programm able to convert magicWB icons to glowicons, to avoid this stupid colors. I know about tweakWB but I have to start it twice to get access to the converter. Is there a simpler maybe CLI based converter ?

Yes there is. It's called MWB2NI and there's an appicon based "GUI" for it as well.

Go to http://us.aminet.net (http://us.aminet.net) and do a search for "mwb2ni". Both will come up.

NewIcons work just fine under OS 3.9. They don't have the "glow" effect, though you can add this yourself with the icon editor if you're desperate.

OS3.9's icon.library has NewIcon support.  Also IconEdit should load in MWB icons so that they can be saved as GlowIcons if you so desire.

Also the "Workbench" prefs that comes with OS3.9 also has an option to tick on for locking the pens for MWB - "Set MWB Colours".
