I am testing 2 keyboards I have for my A500 and need to check if the keys are ok.
Is there some software so I can test all the keys?
Maybe in workbench 1.3? I can't find anything.
Please don“t tell me 'open notepad' or something like that 'cause I can't test keys like Function Keys.
thanks

Well for the vast majority of testing something like a notepad would work perfectly adequately. However if you're wanting to test the function keys, I'd suggest running a game that uses them, for instance birds of prey, which uses every key on the board.

Some years ago I wrote a small program in oberon which prints out the keycodes in an intuition message (vanilla and raw) I tested it under AmigaOS3.1 but I think it should run on other versions too.
You should be able to grab the zip (src & binary) here:

An application made for OS1.3 was ye' olde KeyMap-Ed.
Besides being able to create Amiga-keymaps,
this will allow you to test all keys.
(It works for latter OS's too)

I believe that The Advanced Amiga Analyzer will perform what you need. You don't even need the dongle for this - just the software.

i'll look for those programs.
