Title: Demonoid offlined!

As of 10th June 2009 the site appears offline in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Iceland, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Canada, and the United States. This seems to be due to the fact that Demonoid's IP space appears to have been removed from the global routing tables.

Sounded very official, highly techincal.

Of course, anyone using OpenDNS (http://www.opendns.com/start/) won't even notice. And adding this to your system will take all of about a minute.

Remember folks, the internet is designed to route around things like this like it would a damaged segment.

It seems it was only temporary.  The reference quote is no longer anywhere to be found on Wikipedia.

I've searched the web a bit. And it seems that leaseweb closed down demonoid in my country, because some anti-piracy foundation complained and wanted to take leaseweb to court.
