Title: Cyberstorm PPC Memory
Post by: cehofer on June 09, 2009, 03:24:22 PM
What type of memory does the PPC handle?  Is it EDO or Fast Page?  The manual says PS/2 standard memory.  I know it is up to 128M.  I was going to get 4-32M.

Both will work. EDO feature is simply ignored.

The not so common 4k refresh page mode simm shows only half of its capacity (yes, got one pair which ended into a PC)

Just to clarify, you are not thinking EDO and ECC (parity)?  I thought they EDO and Fast Page are two seperate technologies?  I know most Amiga stuff is non parity and it will ignore the parity bit if you install parity modules.
