Yikes! Those SAM boards are expensive :-(
Whatever happened to the days of affordable Amigas :-(

Long gone, unfortunately!
Affordable Amiga these days boils down to either AROS or a second-hand A500! :)

F#CK me drunk! $849.95!!!!!!!! These are genuine Commodore prices.
Where is the emoticon of the guy bending over with his trousers down and a dude driving a high speed forklift into the back of him?

Based on the forum talk on AW.net, I'd say that the SAM Flex prices included AmigaOS 4.1 at $160 and the cases were purchased in Europe with a bad exchange rate. Look again if the price of the SAM without the OS is now listed.

Amiga OS 4.1 is is now being sold to us separately. So if you were to subtract one hundred and sixty dollars form the $849 that would give you the cost of the board alone which is $689

Prices are about the same as Amigakit aren't they? I'm just glad to have a source in the US. Is the 440 flex really $600 including OS4.1? I think that's the one for me. The difference is just the ram and the video card right? Any idea when these will be in stock?

$600 U.S. for the board and OS 4.1 does not seem like a terrible deal. Especially great if you happen to already have a Radeon, case, power supply, ram, etc. :-) All those other PeeCee components sell for peanuts here in the States or can be had for free! Just ask your friends who contracted a virus, didn't know how to restore their computer and went out and bought a new one, if they have their old PeeCee in the closet. You'd be surprised! lol
