Title: Amiwest Nostalgia
Post by: vt220 on October 10, 2008, 06:41:49 PM
Take a trip down memory lane... The silliest most definitive movie of Amiwest 2001 is finally available on Youtube - x86 emulators, tattoos, the alien boxer, & sock puppets.

See it all here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOVEUTRir4E).

Also of interest, I uploaded uncut interviews with  Bill McEwen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el6LUUdIvUU) and that kooky Merlancia guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpsYdwGjryI) from the 2002 Amiwest.

Gods, how did an obvious idiot like that Merlancia guy manage to fool people such as Dave Haynie to start working for him? Or does his brain only shut down when there are cameras pointed at him?

Fun little video indeed =).

Love the part where John Harris says, "in the early 80's, when I got started," and the camera zooms out to emphasize the fact by revealing John's mostly bald head. Poor guy. ;-)

There's something about Amithlon in there and it reminded me of that whole debacle and now I wonder where the H&P guys are now. Wasn't it their fault that Amithlon wasn't distributable even though Amiga Inc was endorsing it?
