Title: Hyperion at AmiWest and More
Post by: ssolie on October 10, 2008, 02:58:06 AM
Hyperion, represented by Richard Drummond, will be attending AmiWest 2008 and showing off AmigaOS 4.1 on a SAM440EP (aka "The Red One").

The banquet speaker is Jens Schoenfeld (http://amigaprez.wordpress.com/) from Individual Computers (http://www.jschoenfeld.com/indexe.htm) and don't forget to reserve your tickets.

David Morris has graciously volunteered to show off MorphOS 2.1 (http://www.morphos.de/) as well.

See you there on October 17 & 18!

Could someone ask Richard Drummond whatever happened to EUAE Integration Bounty he signed up for last year for TeamAROS?

@dammy
Come to AmiWest and do it yourself. I'm not doing your dirty work. :-P

Maybe the fact that he now 'represents' Hyperion has some bearing on this.

If so, a bit short sighted. After all, SAM440 is a major AROS platform and EUAE integration on AROS could only have helped SAM440 and therefor OS4.1 sales.  ;-)

Maybe I am being a bit cynical!

If he works for Hyperion in any fashion, he's probably contractually forbidden from working on products that provide similar functionality.

He accepted the bounty and could have asked to be removed at any point in time as other Devs have done in the past.  He could have at least answered multiple emails that were sent to him about it during the lengthy bounty period.

I'd been happy even if he would simply have released an updated version of EUAE for AROS, that's something we talked about even before he signed for the bounty.

At least he's still alive.
