Does anyone know how the voodoo 4 4500 card is on the Amiga. Is it faster than voodoo 3?

2D probably a bit faster,
but for 3D its just going to be using the same drivers as the Voodoo3... so not sure how its going to make out....

Isn't there new drivers for the voodoo 4 from elbox? I have ordered a voodoo 4 and I hope it comes today together with my new terratec soundcard and mediator sx :-D

Its not all that faster. I put one in my A3000 to see if it would make any diffrence and didnt notice much at all. Its a nice card though. The thing to remember about them though is this: yes Elbox did a driver TWEAK on them, but it will still run in voodoo 3 mode for 3D. the drivers for Warp3D were and still are for the voodoo 3 chip set. In any case it will blow the doors off any RTG card made for the Amiga. Your will love it once you have it all set up and running well!!!

I found it to be faster in my 1200. I'll see if I can find the SysSpeed numbers (I have them saved somewhere). There are issues with the drivers though, the most annoying for me is that I can't play Earth 2140 :-x
