VLC is a popular media player which is highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, ...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.

Now its out for MorphOS and has DVD support aswell.

    * Fixed mouse-pointer offsets
    * Fixed new-line problem in the shell
    * Fixed config-load/save stuff
    * Fixed option --longhelp crash
    * Fixed all getenv(HOME) to PROGDIR:home

Great news!  It is always good to see programs that we all want and need being developed for the Amiga and MorphOS.  I need to complete my installation of MorphOS for PuP and try this out.

Hey. Its very powerfull :) Working without problems. Latest mplayer for morphos also plays .flv files in right speed.

Ive even tried to run VLC and Mplayer at the same time without any slowdowns. Same .avi file. See it on next Amitopia TV show. Made a special program of it.

@ozkano

DivX performance is bad on PowerUp amigas with any player you use. There's no enough cpu power.

Even with a G-Rex and optimized players like Frogger.
