Yay amikit works on the EEE Pc.
Here is a guide on how to change the settings for the 800 x 480 screenmode.
1) First download and install amikit http://amikit.amiga.sk/
2) Install roms and operating system with standard installer in 800 x 600 screenmode
3)Close amikit after instalation and the click on the amikit icon then click configure WinUAE then change the values to screenshot to the ones in the pic

save the settings to the winuae config u are using.
4) Load amikit and use fn + f6 to go to windows and use the Asus EEE Pc utility to change windows mode to LCD 800 x 600 (Do this if you need to move the amikit screen about)
5) Open Morpheuz and change the enviroment to Workbench

6) When amikit restarts open "amikit" and then "prefs" and select screenmode

save screenmode and exit
7) Then (still in the prefs folder) select "ShowAmiga96_prefs" convert image to the settings on the picture below and save

Absolutely f*&^%g brilliant!
Ever since I saw an EEE PC in Brighton about a month ago I have been wanting one. Which is silly really. It was the Linux based one, and although it was staggeringly cute and incredibly cool, it was a little sluggish and I knew that even though I loved it, I would have no use for it at all... It reminded me of when the A600 came out - I had an A2000 that was very powerful at the time (1991 or so - 3 MB RAM, 40 MB HD) and the A600 came out and I desperately wanted one because it was so damn cute. But I knew that because I had such a powerful A2000 an A600 was useless for me. But I bought it because I couldn't resist its cuteness and sure enough, I never ued it.
The EEE PC seems like a modern day A600 - incredibly cute but totally useless when you have a laptop, desktop, Amiga, console etc.
But installing UAE and Amikit on it? Well, doesn't that just make it into the Amiga laptop we have all been waiting for all these years? I think that I might just have a reason to go and buy one now! What a great idea!
To the original poster - is this UAE running on the Windows or Linux version of EEE PC?

@Hitman
I think Windows version. Look at the first shot. It's WinUAE.

opps i should have mention this is for windows xp :P
Lol I think the eee pc is amazingly cute. Its not just cute, its functional and powerfull. Its a very good buy (my desktop is gathering dust since i brought my eee).

Aren't the keys too small for adult hands?

interesting to see what is possible.notice that you can lower the Icon size of the 32bit icons in afa_prefs in realtime.
i dont know is the pixel aspect on the 800*480 display same as on 800*600, or should i add in afa prefs a own y scale value ?
