				This is the first update for 2008 and we do have now more than 570 registered PowerUP cards in our database. We added also a new statistics page with estimate production numbers based on the serial numbers we got.

 The new statistics can be found at http://powerup.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=en&page=43

 We are still counting...

				Wow, thats a lot of cards that have gone missing since 95.

-
				95? Late 97 I think. It's also quite doubtful that everyone with a PPC card bothers to register on that site.

 Agreed :-)

 except me, i want to register the card but WhichAmiga freezes every time i run it just to find the serial number... :-o

 @DJBase: please count my bppc and bvision too
 even i can't find the ser num...
-
				I know some owners have stated they wont bother registering as "there is nothing in it for them."

 without any words...

				@amije

 makes no sense without serial. You can try SysSpeed/SysInfo or something like that (can't remember which one does) which can also report the serial.
-
				Try THIS (http://piru.dyndns.org/~p/sw/WhichAmiga.lha)

 What was the exact number of PPC cards ever produced?  6000+???

 Well the purpose of this site is to find exactly this out....
-
				I haven't bothered registering my CSPPC simply because it'll take too much effort to pull the A4k out of the cupboard, find the mouse/keyboard, plug in a monitor.

-
				I havent regged mine either, its not used in a long time anyway now..

-
				the one that are privileged to have a ppc that dont bother register at that site or just let the ppc collect dust. should be ashamed!!...

 :-x
-
				@DJBase: you are right but i have talk with Matthias Munch about this and we couldn't find any solution.

 @AMIGAZ: i already try it, it does not work at my miggy. we had a conversation with Piru about it but he no longer develop it and he can't help.

 DJBase = Matthias Münch  ;-)
-
				wow nice to meet you again then :-)
 you send me an email at 25/10/07 about the problem if you remember.
 so far i can't find a solution. even scout don't give a correct serial number...

 Lets stop doing the 5000 or 6000 PPC card myth guys.  570 is much more then 10%, its somewhere between 25% and 40% of them.
