Title: A4000 Question
Post by: adolescent on October 23, 2003, 05:41:25 AM
Stupid question.  Does the A4000D normally have a mylar/plastic insulator between the daughter card and the HD drive bay?  (Like the A3000?)

I ask because mine doesn't have one, and things look pretty close back there.

I figured it should.  I searched for 4000 pics and most of them I found didn't have it.  Funny thing is only pics I found with one were the models with brown PCBs.

BTW, I tried tape but it gets fairly hot back there near my 060/66 so it's coming off.  I'm sure I can find some thin mylar somewhere.

Thanks!

Couldn't you just cut a peice from a static protection baggy thing you get most computer bits in?
