@Methuselas
I just noticed tht your avatar lady is sniffing HOT SAUCE! AUGH!!!! I thought it was soda before, but now I recognise it as that way-too-hot hot sauce with the chicken on the front and the weird name I can't spell.
EVIL!
@on topic
It's cool that development is still going on. Go Amiga stuff!

I always thought it was a Coca Cola can and she was snorting coke :lol:
Oh... er... um great work on IBrowse :pint:

She is. That's Miki Berenyi, formerly of the London band, Lush. She was an Amiga user.

@Methuselas
So it really is Coke? Whew! :lol:

It rocks and it is fast.
Tnx to the progger team.

Awesome! When I saw this news, I almost fell off my chair.
I love the new search bar. It saves a lot of time - especially on some search sites that have a huge homepage that has to be loaded before you start searching. I've already added 7 more search engines to the pulldown.
IBrowse 2.4 seems faster too. I haven't found any sites that look radically better yet, but I'm searching. :-)
Thanks IBrowse team! :banana:

Boy oh boy, what a Christmas present! Absolutely fantastic! I haven't had a really good chance to put it through it's paces as I am on nights until Christmas day (sleeping by day working at night):-( but will soon give it a good go :-)
Well done the IBrowse team
PS: Expect a full detailed review in the next issue of Total Amiga magazine :-)

Cool features, but 54.99€ is a high price for a browser. Anyway, that's very good news. :)
Hyperion could license Opera 9 SDK for Devices for OS4:

Nice looking from the shots I've seen! I cant wait to get home from Christmas holiday now and install it. It just looks fantastic!!!

Congratulations, guys! Ever since I saw an early version of IBrowse 2.4 demonstrated at the AmiWest Show 2006, I knew that this was going to be an important step forward in Amiga browsers.

It is nice to see software updates in Amiga. Somebody working out there for Amiga.
But I have a question. When we will see CSS support?
-
Nautilus: Compare it to any other software... it isn't that high IMHO. I bet you use browser much more than some same priced game for example :)
-
@zombi
in IB3.0 that should be AOS4 native.
-
Just installed 2.4 on my A4000. Wow, what a great update! Much faster from my initial tests. The search bar is a welcome addition. I thought the fee was a bit steep last year when I bought 2.3 but 2.4 made the purchase worthwhile.
Thanks to the pgrm team! Very nice work!
Happy Holidays!!!!
