Thanks for the AmigaOS4 version of wizard.library. I took your advice and did a search for any old copies of the library on my hard drive. I didn't realise that so many programs were sitting on my hard drive with a copy of wizard.library in each folder! I've delete them all and hope now that they will all look in Libs:

Any documentation on just what wizard.library does? :-? :-?

It's a GUI library like Triton or GadTools. Haage & Partner's software uses it, as do frontends for some games - the old, original Quake 1 GUI, for example.
I never liked it much, but hopefully this version crushes some of the old bugs.

I was just wondering the same thing. Google didn't bring anything up but if you go to the alinea site download section it says 'GUI system for AmigaOS 4'.
I hope there isn't any software that actually requires wizard.library. Having to search Aminet for hacks or missing libraries just to be able to run new software should have ended with OS3.x. Either use the functionality built into OS4 or don't bother. If OS4 is missing functionality that you need then suggest it to Hyperion.

IIRC wizard.library was used by programs generated by GUI builder in StormC. It is a private library without documented API.
