Michal Schulz has finished a NIC driver for AROS to support the nForce, nForce2, nForce3 and nForce4 chipset. Thus, the Team AROS bounty 27 has been completed. The source code has been commited to SVN.
Bounty 27[url]
According to the author, support of even newer chipsets (up to nForce11 or nForce12) is a matter of adding proper DeviceIDs and setting few flags for the specific chipset (mostly which interrupts are provided by the hardware itself). (http://www.thenostromo.com/teamaros/bounty_details_27.html)

Michal has done yet another wonderful job of writing driver(s). AROS is truely blessed to have him as a developer.
Next milestone, VIA NIC/SND drivers.
Oh, if you feel like supporting AROS, Michal is interested in this bounty (http://www.thenostromo.com/teamaros/bounty_details_34.html), but it needs far better funding.

Okay, it's just a very short news-item, but anyway it would have been nice to at least mention the source where it has been copied from - i.e. either amiga-news.de or AROS-Exec.org.
[Just by the way for the future - since, yes, I did survive this shameless plagiarism. ;-)]
