Title: Amiga.org RSS feed goes 2.0
Post by: System on July 12, 2005, 03:30:11 PM
Thanks to the feedback given, Amiga.org's news feed has been upgraded to RSS version 2.0

This has necessitated changes to the way we will credit incoming news, since placing the link on the front page was causing a problem with the news feed for several other sites including amigann.com.

Incoming news from our XML Aggregator will now be fully credited on the article page itself rather than the front page, since everyone who ends up on those pages does so by the RSS feed itself (meaning that they click on a link on their own site and end up directly on the news item itself, not on the main page).

Hopefully this will help to correct the remaining few of the problems we had experienced with the new news feed.
