The numbers show that this is Tao’s moment. For the first 14 years of its existence, the company licensed 2 million devices carrying its software. In the last year, Tao has inked deals for 10 million more units. The company has 20 customers that license Tao’s software and pay royalties for each product made. The customers include several household names like Philips, Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, and NEC. Tao will break even this year if it can generate more than €7.7 million in revenue—a goal that Mr. Charig believes the company can meet.

As an open message to the Tao Group: For those of us who like what you're doing and wouldn't mind trying to support you regardless of what the heck is going on... can we get a clearer picture of what some of these device wins are?
A few years ago, it was at least clear that a few specific cameras, the Cosmo, and maaaybe the Zaurus were going to be Elated. These days I can't tell what, if anything, on the US market happens to use the software, which makes it hard to know how to swing some revenue your way if the opportunity presents itself. (Heck, it makes it hard to know if the opportunity is presenting itself in the first place... or do you like that sort of challenge? :-))

Mea culpa, I did a quick check to confirm I couldn't find it on withintent.biz (http://www.withintent.biz), and forgot about the 'main' site.
Now, when you tally how many of those are actually available in the USA (or anywhere; has the MyOrigo shipped yet?) ... maybe you can see why I'm wondering if those are the 'only' trumpetable options. (If they are, hey, good luck, but if, say, JVC or Sony are using it anywhere else, that'd be nice to know.)

Best of luck to TAO Group, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for them.
